Sculpture Class

This class is for children who want to broaden their art abilities into the realm of three dimensions. Projects include clay, cardboard, nature and recycled materials sculpture, to name just a few. Through elaborate and challenging processes, children not only improve their fine motor skills but learn a unique set of skills that will improve all areas of their life. The sculpture is sometimes seen as less important and less academic than, for example, observational drawing, yet, the skills gained and pleasure experienced, as well as its therapeutic qualities, is unparalleled to any other creative activity. The curriculum is created by Anita Sulimanovic who holds MFA in sculpture and had developed innovative strategies while devoting a number of years to teach children sculpture.
